From Raw Stone, to Wearable Art

The process starts with the stone. I cut, polish and study it to decide on wire colors and designs. What begins as a rough piece becomes a polished, wearable work of art.

Sometimes, I wrap it in simple wire, and other times, I incorporate hemp for a rustic, organic touch. I trust the process, letting the stone guide the way. What emerges is a piece of jewelry that’s as unique as the natural world itself.

Meet the Artist

I’m Billy Woolstenhulme, the hands and heart behind Stone & Stream Studio. Growing up in Sweet Home, Oregon, I spent my childhood camping, exploring, and learning the patience of craftsmanship from my grandfather.

When I discovered wire wrapping, it wasn’t about perfection—it was about letting nature guide my hands. Every stone offers its own natural beauty, and my work is meant to highlight that beauty. With the support of family, friends, and a bit of trial and error, I turned a hobby into a way to share nature’s quiet magic with others.
